How to Prepare for Graduation Portraits

Graduating High School is such a special event. Here is a list of ways to help your son or daughter get the most out of their portraits.

A photo is worth a thousand words. How can we sum up your years as a student in a one hour session?

Do you want to wear more than one outfit?

For girls, I recommend 2 outfits when possible, and most do one dress and one causal with pants.

For guys, I also recommend 2 outfits, and or jackets to layer the one outfit and add dimmension.

What are these portraits for?

Have you considered what your school yearbook requires, deadlines, certain criteria for sizing, if you want professional headshots for LinkedIn or if these are for invitations to your graduation? Depending on these things, you can really utilize your time with me by wearing professional attire or you can simply focus on summarizing your high school years by bringing things that represent your current hobbies, interests, accomplishments, etc.

Bring a parent or a friend.

Having someone to help encourage you, or share this monumental milestone is always fun. They can help hold things, fix your hair, and bring genuine smiles just by being there with us.
